Founded in Los Angeles in 1999 by professionals each with over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, TBG principals have advised public and private real estate company CEOs, Boards of Directors, Senior Management and Owners, applying their expertise and experience to the resolution of a variety of critical, urgent and confidential management issues, emphasizing insightful analysis, thorough evaluation of strategic and tactical options, and the recommendation of implementable solutions.
Additionally, TBG has provided advisory services in real estate asset, portfolio and corporate financial restructuring, providing sophisticated financial analysis, real estate advisory services and trustee services to lenders, owners, investors and intermediary clients related to debt, equity and in/or out-of-Court restructuring.

James B. Wright CEO Over 25 years consulting experience with financial, asset development, property/portfolio management and corporate management issues in all sectors of the real estate industry, working with key company decision makers and their intermediaries. Mr. Wrights experience spans advisory assignments ranging from cash and long-term executive compensation program recommendations, to organizational design and transition, to development, engineering and financing, to real estate portfolio restructuring.
Prior career experience with FPL Advisory Group/FPL Associates; Kibel, Green Inc., Laventhol & Horwath, British Petroleum and URS International.
MBA Case Western Reserve University, MA State University of New York, and BS Bradley University.
Thomas B. Townley Vice President Over 30 years of real estate Human Resources experience, 26 with CB Richard Ellis, Inc. - managing, and implementing a range of HR related functions including: compensation for brokerage and executive management; organizational transition; policy/procedures; recruiting; training and database management. Prior experience with Korn/Ferry International.
